 To equip change agents for what we have dubbed "humanity's ultimate endeavor," we developed a comprehensive 12-part plan that change agents can use to shift humanity from Game A to Game B before its too late.

Determine precisely what new forms of leadership will be required to elevate our shared vision, raise our standards, and develop character in novel ways. Examine how leaders develop their creativity, courage and ability to climb aboard a strategic psychological helicopter to hone and expand their sensemaking. Learn how to integrate action and care to co-evolve a layered field of meaning within your organization.

Build the skill set that enables you to leverage conscious, networked evolutionary processes that underpin ideas, behaviors, and socio-technical systems in human organizations and in society at large. The Global Transition Model (GTM) is the basis for your change agent interventions. Examine several approaches to thriveable transformation that are already in widespread use. Take a significant step toward mastering context by delving into the "three gap problem." In order to build a new society on the other side of this transition, we must lay the groundwork for a multi-capital approach. 

We must first recognize how we got into this mess in the first place, during the "age of rising abundance" and the emergence of global neoliberal capitalism between 1945 and 2021. Examine the dynamics of the evolution of our planetary civilization, and the ensuing banquet of consequences. Comprehend the seven fatal flaws in the global neo-liberal capitalism model that is collapsing.

This final section of your change agent training is where it all comes together. Bring all of your newfound knowledge and skill together to achieve “whole system transformation.” Drop deeply into the unfolding transformation of Life, the universe, and everything. Zoom way out to apprehend our home as the pale blue dot that it is.

Review and integrate what we have learned to chart multiple paths from Game A to Game B. Ground all of our new change agent insights and skills and come down to earth. Meditate on the transition that is underway and how we, as global change agents, have a hand on the rudder as we steer our ships safely through the challenges on the horizon. Explore our plans, form alliances, and pledge our support together as we set sail for the momentous leaps that lie ahead. 

HOW THE PROGRAM works

WEEKLY LIVE TRAINING
SESSIONS ON ZOOM

We will select a 1.5 hour weekly time slot that works for all participant's to meet on Zoom. In these sessions, Dr. Robin Lincoln Wood will introduce new concepts and tools, and the facilitators will guide you through processes to help you implement what you are learning in your context using action learning methods. You will be inspired by meeting other change agents with their own projects, leadership challenges and opportunities, and ventures.The facilitators and coaches will review your work (from previous sessions) and offer you feedback, answer your questions and assist you in implementation.  

Guest Presenters with expertise & experience 

In addition to the weekly Zoom sessions with your facilitators, you will be invited to 10 bonus Zoom sessions featuring a subject matter expert (on topics we are studying) or an experienced "global change agent" for a mentor session and/or Q&A session. You can bring your burning questions and details about your current change agent projects and initiatives and get input from someone who has massive expertise in that area or who has experience doing some of the things you are currently planning to do (or are working on) in the program. 

Build/EXPAND YOUR CHANGE PROJECT OR YOUR PLATFORM FOR POSITIVE IMPACT

While you will learn a lot of key concepts new tools in this course, a major focus is to support you as you build or expand your own "change agent project", your "platform for positive impact" or any important initiative you are working on as part of your job or your efforts to have a positive impact in your organization or community. You will have the support of experienced mentors, experts, and your cohort of peers who can provide valuable insight, guidance and encouragement as you evaluate your own project (or initiative), identify gaps and needs, and significantly bolster your success with hands on experience during this 6-month program.

The change agent techniques you are learning come with tools and templates to make it easy and fast to begin to implement what you are learning with your situation and circumstances, and the people you are influencing and supporting. The worksheets, templates, and examples make it easy to implement the strategies and tactics described in the live instruction session and in the self-paced video tutorials. These tools and templates will save you hundreds of hours that would be wasted in trial-and-error if you were only learning from books or trying to do this in a self-taught way.

Dr. Susan Cannon, is an interdisciplinary scholar-practitioner and futurist specializing in innovation, learning, and change in human systems. She is an adjunct professor of Organizational Development and Leadership at Fielding Graduate University. She previously worked as an associate professor of management at Antioch University Seattle, and an adjunct professor with the Bainbridge Graduate Institute at Pinchot University. Susan is an extremely experienced leadership coach with many years of experiences providing leadership development coaching with senior executives in major corporations. She is also an expert on integral theory and integral leadership with decades of experience. 
Kageni Pierce, leadership coach, facilitator and relationship management expert. Organizations must grow their brightest talent to generate greater value every day if they are to survive in today’s competitive business climates. I work with leaders to build thriving ecosystems in their organization, the teams they lead and the broader communities they serve and depend on.
She studied business at the University of Nairobi and is pursuing an MBA in the United States. She has worked in marketing, sales and operations in a number of organizations but her passion resides in helping leaders leverage their personal and professional relationships to advance careers and create greater organizational value.

Turquoise Sound is a veteran technologist, consultant, teacher, mentor and coach with wide-ranging experience from working with Fortune 100 companies, silicon valley startups, to tech engineering to leadership of numerous consciousness and community organizations. She trains leaders in the art of developing the sage-self for heart-centered, transcendent, non-dual leadership, emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, communication skills, vulnerability, radical responsibility and conscious business. She collaborates with teams to plan, design, build, edit and stabilize communities, organizations, projects and campaigns.
Eric Reyolds, PhD,  received his MA in Transformative Leadership from the California Institute of Integral Studies and his PhD at Saybrook University in Organizational Leadership and Transformation (OLT). As a transdisciplinary scholar of Next-Stage Organizations, and Executive Editor and Publisher of Integral Leadership Review, he serves leaders, professionals and academics engaged in the practice, development and theory of leadership. He assists clients in developing and implementing comprehensive shifts in strategies drawing on lessons from experience, insights, and tools that can be used in addressing complex challenges leaders face.
Natasha Mantler, PhD, is a leadership coach, consultant, researcher, advocate and practitioner of Women's Authentic Leadership Development.  She gained leadership experience in her family’s real estate company, incorporating conscious business practices. After earning her MBA and coaching certification she became a sustainability analyst, then her conducted doctoral research on Women’s Authentic Leadership Development. She is co-owner and co-operates Integral Leadership Review, which brings together a diverse group of international scholars and practitioners to share knowledge and progress the state-of-the-art of leadership theory and practice.  
Jeremy Johnson, MA, is a scholar, writer, and publisher at Revelore Press and the founder of Nura Learning. He received his masters in Consciousness Studies from Goddard College, where he studied media ecology, integral philosophy, and depth psychology. He is the author of Seeing Through the World: Jean Gebser and Integral Consciousness (2019) and an editor of Fragments of an Integral Future: Essays on Reclaiming Time. (2021). He is president of the International Jean Gebser Society, editor for Integral Leadership Review and a Senior Research Associate at Perspectiva.

Dr. Bernard Amadei is a professor of civil engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder, founding president of Engineers Without Borders (USA), co-founder of the Engineers Without Borders-International Network, and founding director of the Mortenson Center in Engineering for Developing Communities. In 2008, he was elected as a member into the National Academy of Engineering for the creation of Engineers Without Borders, leadership in sustainable development education, and research on geomechanics. In 2009, he was recognized with an Award of Excellence from Engineering News-Record. In 2012, Dr. Amadei was appointed as a Science Envoy to Pakistan and Nepal by the U.S. Department of State. More recently he co-founded Peace Engineers, a non-profit with the ambitious goal of helping to engineer peace in conflict-ridden regions throughout the world. 
Graham Boyd is the author of the groundbreaking book Rebuild: the Economy, Leadership, and You. He is an experienced entrepreneur and consultant leading businesses to become deliberately developmental and self-governing with a FairShares Commons incorporation. He recently completed transforming an international non-profit into 3 for-profits, and is now growing a company making it easy for businesses and leaders to continuously adapt themselves, to rise to the adaptive challenges they are facing. Nick Jankel is a Cambridge-educated scientist turned regenerative innovation pioneer, leadership expert, and heart-led global activist. He is a best-selling author and sought-after professional speaker. He has 20+ years of hard-won experience leading over a hundred strategic innovation projects on the frontlines of disruption at global organizations including Disney, Virgin, Microsoft, Diageo, Cadburys, Tesco, BBC, Vodafone and more. He has worked with senior leaders from organizations like HSBC, Walgreens, Unilever, Google, Nike, Merck, Wal-Mart, NHS. Isaias Medina III is an international lawyer who fights for the rights of indigenous people worldwide, a counter-terrorism expert, a humanitarian activist, former United Nations Diplomat, legal adviser to the UN Security Council, cryptocurrency pioneer (Earth Dollar), a Mason Fellow at the Harvard’s Kennedy School of Leadership, a Vaishnava monk and a kite-surfing instructor. He is an expert in sustainable international development, investment state arbitration and distributed ledger technology (blockchain). He received international recognition when in his role as United Nations diplomat from Venezuela, he publicly denounced more than 20 top state officials including the head of state to the International Criminal Court and publicly resigned in protest of human rights violations in his home country. He is a keynote speaker at Yale, Harvard, Florida International University College of Law, and  MIT. He is an alumni of The Hague Academy of International Law at the Peace Palace in the Netherlands, a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), Latin American International Law Society (SLADI), the American Society of International Law (ASIL), and the Academic Council on the United Nations System.
David Riordan has been surfing the leading edge of cultural change for decades. In 1970, he co-wrote the number-one hit "Green-Eyed Lady" for the band Sugarloaf , and released his first solo album in 1974 called Medicine Wheel. He surfed from counter-culture to the information-age as an interactive media designer, producer and executive. In the early 1980s, while working as a consultant for Lucasfilm, producer of the Star Wars franchise, he began his career as an interactive media designer. He was recruited by Disney to start their interactive division, where he played a pioneering role on the ground floor of the industry that later came to be known as "gaming." A consummate storyteller, he continued to produce and direct films through the 1990s. As a senior executive, he lead interactive entertainment divisions for Disney, Philips Media, Cinemaware and Time Warner and produced popular television shows for the A&E network. In the 2000s, he spent a decade working very closely with Ken Wilber at Integral Life. He now helps change agents uncover and communicate "integrative meta-narratives" that weave their projects together into the broader social movements beginning to sweep the planet.
Michael Bezdek is a serial entrepreneur, investor, a veteran business manager and senior executive who has served in the top ranks of major corporations. He serves as the Executive Director of Conscious Coalition, a platform that uses an integral approach to partner with nonprofits and social ventures to reduce poverty, conflict and social injustice in developing countries. Michael spent a decade on Wall Street managing individual and global institution's investment portfolios exceeding 1 billion in assets. He is experienced in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, mezzanine financing, venture capital and private equity. He is also the managing partner and co-founder of both Conscious Capital Group and Sandia Energy Group. His past roles included SVP of Investment Banking at National Securities Corp and EVP institutional wealth manager over private individual and institutional investments for RBC / Dain Rauscher’s Private Client Group. Michael holds a BBS in Finance from the University of Southern California and has been educated at Cornell University in Conflict Resolution and VUCA, Arbinger Institute for law enforcement leadership, as well as numerous executive education certifications.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will the weekly live Zoom sessions work for my calendar in my international time zone?
We will use a scheduling tool to have all cohort members indicate which slots they can make and then we will select a time slot (one hour weekly) that everyone can make. This one weekly Zoom call is the only mandatory hour for your schedule. The rest of the program work, including all assignments, are self-paced and scheduled by you. You can also schedule to meet with peers or opt in to other work groups as you desire and as your schedule permits. The 10 guest presentations are scheduled at the convenience of each guest (in their home time zone). You can elect to attend those live if your schedule permits, and you can also watch the recorded replay. 

Will I be able to get individualized feedback on my projects and situation and personalized coaching?
Absolutely. While this is the equivalent of a graduate level class or course, it is also designed to be a laboratory and a kind of "think tank" where leaders, entrepreneurs, scientists, activists, and project managers can work with their peers as well as have a lot of individualized input from the faculty and staff. We also have 10 guest speakers who are subject matter experts (and experienced global change agents) to supplement your learning and give you additional mentoring opportunities to learn from people who "have done it" or are currently "doing it." 
About how much time each week will I need to allocate to be successful in this 6-month program?
You can telescope the amount of time you invest. The minimum amount of time to complete this program successfully is 2 hours a week. That is one 1-hour group session on Zoom and one hour of self-paced learning assignments which include watching video tutorials, reading handouts and articles, and working with tools / templates / worksheets on your change agent project(s). If you have more than two hours a week to invest, you can dive deeper into the core (provided) learning materials and additional (recommended) books and articles, and you can elect to participate in small-group gatherings including affinity groups who are collaborating on specific projects together. A person who's schedule permits and is highly engaged may invest 3-5 hours a week. Again, you can complete the program successfully in two-hours a week. It is a 24 week (6-month) program which gives plenty of time to digest and apply what you are learning. If you have to miss an occasional Zoom session or assignment, that will not prevent you from completing the program successfully. 
If I don't have time to watch all the video tutorials and read all of the assignments during the 6-months will I still have access to all the materials? 
Absolutely. You will have "lifetime access" to the learning portal which means for the life of the program. It is our intention to keep all of our Integral Leadership Academy learning portals live for many years to come. As long as ILA maintains our servers, you can access your training materials even years from now.  As a member if this pilot cohort, you will also be "grandfathered in" to future iterations of the course training materials. As we iterate this program from version 1.0 to 2.0 and 3.0 you will always have access to the latest versions of the videos, tools, templates and handouts as registered member of the course. 
How theoretical is this program? The description mentions a lot of theories and frameworks. How practical and useful will it be in my work? 
Great question. Theories are incredibly useful, as are maps. But to ensure that humans can flourish on this planet, or even have a habitable planet (in 30 years) we need much more than theories and maps. We need guides and mentors who have experience using those maps and those tools to create the kinds of changes we want to create in our projects, organizations and communities. Further, we need a platform or a "vehicle" that will help us come together across time zones, cultures and continents and co-create new solutions that don't exist today. What got is here won't get us there. The two lead facilitators Robin Wood and Brett Thomas are both quite familiar with theories and maps, but their reputation is based on the impact they have had on organizations, and the impact the organizations they have supported are having in the world. They are pragmatists, entrepreneurs, activists, change makers. This program is about making change happen locally, regionally, nationally and globally.... and doing it in a highly intelligent, effective, leveraged and impactful way. While the frameworks are useful to understand why the tools work and how they work, this program is ultimately about rolling up our sleeves and getting to work. We don't have decades for trial and error. We need to get most of this right the first time. The clock is ticking. Therefore, we need to know how to do the right work, with the right people, with the right timing, in the right way. That is what this program will help you with.
